Receptionist behind Magwegwe High School headmaster smearing
After visiting Magwegwe High School on a fact finding mission has taken note of worrying developments at the school owing to the school's receptionist who is intimidating staff at the school and pursuing a tribal and ethnic agenda at the school.
After the school headmaster Mr Ncube was not at liberty to delve into details about the incident where purported students wrote a damning tribally charged complaint against the school head, we undertook our own investigations and have since established that the receptionist by name of Mhango, masquerading as students, is the one who wrote the letter.
Our investigations have also established that Mhango is in the habit of intimidating staff, parents and students at the school, often threatening some with registering their names on a list with state security agents.
Mhango, who has on several occasions been caught stealing phones and at one time meat meant for the school, is said to be in the habit of calling staff meetings with Shona speaking teachers at the school where she discuss politics and tribal hatred at the government school. Those who spoke to us showed signs of fear whenever they mentioned the name Mhango.
The school headmaster received our team with warm hands but did not agree to discuss the matter at hand except assuring us that authorities were working on the matter and he was confident a fair resolution will be delivered.
We however, realizing the discomfort displayed by the school head, went on to do our own investigations and the findings point to excessive intimidation and fear that obtains at the government institution at the hands of the woman at reception.
Staff members and students alike displayed so much fear of the woman, whom they accused if bragging about her disguised deployment at the school by the CIO.
The Magwegwe High School head and staff need our support as citizens as they are under siege from Mhango who has not hidden her ZANU PF membership at the school.
Mhango needs to be reminded that problems facing this country are as a result of tribally and ethnically driven hatred, on which the current government rode for the past four decades.
Mhango needs to be reminded of the need to be a responsible civil servant and that residents, parents and students at the school expect proper unbiased service regardless of ones political or ethnic orientation.
